Ed Holm has practiced law in the State of Washington since 1966, and in Olympia since 1969. He was the founder and senior parnter in the law firm most recently known as Connolly, Tacon & Meserve. The firm's practice included areas of administration, criminal domestic relations, consumer, commercial, personal injury, contract, environmental, estate planning, probate and real estate law. In 1999 he was elected to and assumed the office of Thurston County Prosecutor. He served in that position through 2010, when he chose not to run for another term. He had been practicing estate planning, probate and real estate law for the years just prior to taking office.
During his legal career Ed served on the Board of Governors of the Washington State Bar Association, the Lawyer Discipline Board, The Legal Foundation Board, the Judicial Recommendation committee and "Blue Ribbon" committees as well as many other Bar committees involving the improvement of the legal system. He received the "Bigelow Award" for outstanding community service in Thurston County.
Upon his departure as Thurston County Prosecutor in 2010, he has redirected his focus of private practice to the drafting of wills, estate planning, probate and litigation. Ed has decided to limit his practice to these areas along with real estate and some personal injury work. He looks forward to providing quality legal services in the special area of wills, estate planning, and probate.
